Santiburi Dusit Resort & Spa is a superb year round treasured paradise set amidst 23 acres of lush tropical gardens by Mae Nam beach. A team of local gardeners and groundkeepers keep the gardens well watered and cared for.Many of the plants are indigenous of the island, yet many others are not usually found here and were imported from several countries throughout Asia. Among these gardens is the resorts own vegetable, herb and spice garden used in fresh preparation of the finest Thai cuisine, Ice Cream and teas served on Koh Samui.
The resort is bordered on one side by one of the island?fs finest beaches, dotted with countless coconut palms some more than 50 years old. Its luxurious 59 Villas and 12 duplex suites are decorated with traditional Thai motif. All feature sitting rooms, bedrooms luxuriously large bathrooms and private terraces. Each are equipped with satellite color television, video players, hi-fi systems, electronic in-room safes, personal bars, coffee-and- tea-making facilities.
The contemporary but earthy Thai furnishings give a warm, open feel that's enhanced by a glass panel between the living room and bedroom. Wood-panelled glass sliding doors to the terraces add to the spacious affect. The huge bathrooms have two black washbasins, black oval bathtubs, and separate backlit shower stalls.
